PROMS SPECTACULAR
SATURDAY, 21st AUGUST 2004
The 2004 Proms Spectacular will provide an evening of the highest quality
entertainment, featuring conductor Jae Alexander, the English National
Orchestra, tenor Wynne Evans and soprano Janet Mooney.
Once
again an original World War 2 Spitfire will take to the skies, thrilling the
audience with a spectacular aerial display as the orchestra performs classics
such as the Dambusters Theme and 633 Squadron.
The programme will feature a mix of classical favourites, alongside traditional
Proms music including Rule Britannia, Jerusalem, Land Of Hope & Glory (Pomp
& Circumstance No.1) and many more.
The 2003 concert saw the introduction of a big screen to enhance the audience
experience and this will also feature in 2004. As always the concert will finish
with a spectacular fireworks display over the lake.
If you have never experienced the Proms Spectacular at this historic and
beautiful setting then don't miss out again! We can promise you an unforgettable
night of wonderful music, emotion and patriotic flag-waving fun.
