Associates is delighted to announce that its Proms Spectacular will debut this
year at Stoneleigh Abbey, Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Already established as a
wonderful concert venue, Stoneleigh Abbey sits in 690 acres of parkland and
gardens with the River Avon flowing through. Great landscape architects such as
Repton and Nessfield have influenced the design and form of the land creating
the perfect venue for a summer picnic concert.
Stoneleigh Abbey Proms Spectacular
Saturday, 4th September 2004
The Proms Spectacular will be held at Stoneleigh on Saturday, September 4th and
will be the venue's biggest and best concert to date. Exuberant conductor Jae
Alexander will lead the wonderful English National Orchestra, and the concert
will also feature star soprano Sarah Ryan and star tenor Wynne Evans, principal
tenor with the Welsh National Opera.
For
the first time at Stoneleigh the Proms Spectacular will feature an original
World War 2 Spitfire, which will perform a thrilling aerial display over
Stoneleigh Abbey as the orchestra performs stirring music such as the Dambusters
Theme and 633 Squadron.
The concert will feature a wide range of classical favourites including music
associated with the "Last Night Of The Proms", such as Rule Britannia,
Jerusalem, Pomp & Circumstance and many more. The evening will finish with a
spectacular fireworks finale.
This will be an amazing evening's entertainment which will provide a truly
