Stoneleigh Abbey Proms Spectacular

Saturday, 4th September 2004

The Proms Spectacular will be held at Stoneleigh on Saturday, September 4th and will be the venue's biggest and best concert to date. Exuberant conductor Jae Alexander will lead the wonderful English National Orchestra, and the concert will also feature star soprano Sarah Ryan and star tenor Wynne Evans, principal tenor with the Welsh National Opera.

For the first time at Stoneleigh the Proms Spectacular will feature an original World War 2 Spitfire, which will perform a thrilling aerial display over Stoneleigh Abbey as the orchestra performs stirring music such as the Dambusters Theme and 633 Squadron.

The concert will feature a wide range of classical favourites including music associated with the "Last Night Of The Proms", such as Rule Britannia, Jerusalem, Pomp & Circumstance and many more. The evening will finish with a spectacular fireworks finale.
This will be an amazing evening's entertainment which will provide a truly memorable experience. Don't miss it!
