The Great British Proms Concerts - whether at the Royal Albert Hall or from of one of our important historic sites - are like a box of your favourite chocolates - some thing for everyone - whether you prefer the smooth cream centre or the more exotic Turkish Delight. For the past 10 years Musical Associates have been bringing the classics to audiences both as a private promoter and as a contractor for organisations such as the National Trust, English Heritage and the RAF. The English National Orchestra combine with their Principle Conductor
Jae
Alexander to provide an entertaining evening of the best music, staging and
timed firework displays to enhance the music it accompanies.
We pride ourselves on ensuring you get a concert programme you will enjoy
combining traditional favourites such as Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture with
more contemporary classics, such as John Williams' brilliant theme composed for
the Harry Potter movies. The concerts naturally also feature all the favourites
associated with "The Last Night Of The Proms" such as Rule Britannia,
Pomp & Circumstance No.1 and Jerusalem - with audience participation
heartily encouraged! For our 2004 season, Proms Concerts are being held at the following locations:
Duxford Imperial War Museum, Cambridgeshire - July 24th Weston Park, Staffordshire - July 31st Stonor Park, Henley-on-Thames - August 7th Castle Howard, nr York - August 23rd |
